Cookies

Last updated: 26 October 2026.

On our website, Frank Energie uses cookies and similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage. This statement explains which cookies we use and why. It also explains what data they collect, how long we keep them and who they belong to. For how we otherwise handle your personal data, see our privacy statement.

How your choice works

We divide cookies into three categories:

  • Functional cookies: these are needed to make the website work. They are always on. You cannot turn them off.
  • Analytical cookies: these show us how you use the website, so we can make it better. We only turn them on if you give consent.
  • Personal cookies: we use these to show and measure ads. We can also show you a relevant ad again later. We only place them if you give consent.

Without your consent, no analytical or personal cookies are placed, and the related services are not loaded. Refusing has no effect on your use of the website.

Before you choose, Google's measurement tags may still send a basic signal about your visit to Google, such as the page you are on, without cookies and without an ID that is stored on your device.

The first time you visit the website, you see a notice about cookies. You make your choice there. We remember your choice for 12 months. After that we ask again. We also remember which version of the notice you saw.

Changing or withdrawing your choice

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookies link at the bottom of every page.

If you withdraw your consent for a category, we delete the known cookies of that category. Then we reload the page. The services that belong to those cookies then stop. Cookies placed by another party on that party's own domain (such as Google's IDE) cannot be deleted by us. You can clear them yourself in your browser settings.

Functional cookies

These cookies are needed to make the website work the way you expect. That is why we do not ask for consent.

More information per party

You can read how these parties use and process data on their own pages:

Videos and external content

We only load videos from YouTube and content from other parties once you accept personal cookies. Until then you see a notice instead of the video. For YouTube we use the privacy-friendly variant, youtube-nocookie.com.

Sharing data with Google

If you accept personal cookies, we share data about your visit to our website with Google, so we can show and measure ads (Google Ads). When you conclude a contract, this includes a hashed version of your contact details, such as your email address. If you accept analytical cookies, we share data about how you use the website with Google Analytics.

You can read how Google uses this data on Google's page.
