Switching to Frank Energy when we bought our home battery was quick and easy. The app gives clear insight into electricity prices at any moment, so you can easily judge when it's best to use power. You can set how much electricity Frank Energy may sell and how much you want to keep in reserve. A few weeks in, we had a question about the name on our contract. For VAT reclaim purposes, the name on the battery invoice and with Frank Energy must match. Ours didn't, but Frank Energy resolved it expertly — they asked the right questions and requested exactly the information needed. Very trustworthy. All sorted in the end.

As part of my personal sustainability project, in mid-April 2025 I had around ten solar panels and an AlphaESS Smile-G3 home battery with 22.8 kWh installed, followed by a heat pump in early May. Since joining Frank Energy in May, I've seen great daily returns from the smart management of my AlphaESS battery. I've calculated that every month so far I've actually received money back on my energy bill, though that will likely change when it gets cold and my heat pump draws more electricity. This is the best investment I've made in my home. Absolutely delighted with Frank Energy.

The Frank Energy app is easy to use. I use Frank Energy’s dynamic energy service. You can view almost everything about your consumption and battery (Alphaness 10 kW). And soon, solar panels too.
