Green and cheap. You pay exactly the market price and therefore never too much.
And you can use electricity at hours when it is cheapest.
(Though you do need a buffer to pay the higher bills in winter)

FrankEnergie is a newcomer offering a dynamic contract with competitive prices for electricity and always based on the daily prices on the buying exchange. I was initially sceptical as to whether this would work well but, no hidden snags and I have now been purchasing energy through FrankEnergie for the 3rd year. Enquiries to their customer service team come with quick and clear answers. I read negative reports in other reviews about their accessibility and/or lack of response. These seem to me to be incidents that can happen with any energy supplier. I haven't had that experience myself so far. Could I recommend FrankEnergie? Definitely!

Been with this company since 1-10. Professional helpdesk, which responds quickly. Substantially reduced feed-in tariff this week. Very transparent billing. Did have to get used to the fact that it varies monthly. Nice that revenue from trading and smart charging is also quickly settled. I even get money back if I calculate it over a full year.

Dynamic tariffs are the future, usually more economical, especially if you are smart about hourly rates,
In winter, it can be a bit more expensive if you heat in the evening, e.g. with air conditioning, (always cheaper than gas).
But on average you can be much cheaper than fixed tariffs on an annual basis.

Frank has moved on well. The app generally works fine now, questions are answered quickly.

Fast,clear much promising both in contract and app

Frank: For me the first with dynamic energy pricing. We have been off gas for 5 years and are doing good business with this pricing. Now want to buy another home battery to create even more benefit. This gives a lot of opportunities to save even more while relieving the electricity grid Cheap hours of charging Hours of use.

Fine app with possibilities to make good use of my flexible energy contract. Even the charging of myn car (VAG group) I can read via a connection (smart charging). I am happy with Frank

Innovative company, pay for what you use without crazy prepayments. Structure of the bills takes some getting used to, but in the end they do exactly as promised. Smart charging using the app is super nice!
